Exploring the rivers that criss-cross Dartmoor is a small project that I started recently and here are the first few images from these explores. I spend a little more time wandering the Upper Dart which resulted in the following blog post – The Upper Dart. The scenery along many of these rivers is absolutely beautiful and in many cases footpath run along them so they are easy to explore and to enjoy. There are many little treasures hidden along these rivers, such as Hisley Bridge, an old packhorse bridge which first appears on the OS map in 1905 on the River Bovey.
